The IFEX solution for fire fighting in inaccessible terrain are the specially designed IFEX all terrain vehicles.
The ATVs currently in use by the fire brigade in Cairo, Egypt are based on the Honda FourTrax Foreman motorcycle and carry a 50 litres watertank plus a 55 meter hose reel with impulse gun mounted on top.
Where high flexibility is required the ATVs increase the firefighter’s versatility and enable him to reach the site of the fire speedily regardless of terrain conditons.
